Lani Emanuel

Bio

Though born in Honolulu Hawaii, Lani Emanuel spent her formative years in the San Francisco Bay Area. She attended FIDM in Los Angeles, graduating with a degree in fashion design. After working for fifteen years as a fashion designer, she switched tracks and earned a BFA in Illustration from Art Center College of Design, followed by an MFA in painting from Laguna College of Art + Design.

Lani enjoys painting a variety of subjects including contemporary portrait/figure, contemporary still life, and abstract landscape.

 Lani currently teaches portrait/figure painting and still life painting at Laguna College of Art + Design.
